Julie Lucksinger is a California and Nevada licensed broker and has specialized in Real Estate Property Management of various types for over 25 years with Lake Valley Properties. Born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, she graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and returned to her roots to enjoy everything Tahoe has to offer including hiking, skiing, and local volunteer opportunities. She has established and values each and every working relationship whether it’s a property owner, tenant or vendor.

Krizamae Abrera joined Lake Valley Properties, Inc. in July 2021 as a full time property manager. She comes with 10+ years of property management experience, and holds her real estate license in both California and Nevada. In her free time she is hiking challenging peaks, searching for hidden waterfalls, snowboarding secret stashes of fresh powder, and enjoying every moment with her family and friends.

Matt Lucksinger is a licensed real estate salesperson who was raised in South Lake Tahoe. In addition to years of local real estate experience, Matt benefits his clients through previous corporate roles in finance and business development, both on-site and remotely. Matt brings unique experience and understanding to bridging the Tahoe lifestyle with off-mountain career. Matt is on the go with community events and enjoying the many recreational opportunities that the Tahoe area offers, including running, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, and golf.

In the summer of 1974, Mark and Marti Lucksinger left Southern California for South Lake Tahoe — drawn by the lake, the mountains, and a small town that felt like home from the moment they arrived. Four years later they founded Lake Valley Properties, and what followed was nearly five decades of building something truly rare: a family business woven into the fabric of the community it serves. Mark built his expertise as a licensed broker in both California and Nevada, guiding clients through 40 years of market cycles, regulatory shifts, and every kind of transaction this area has seen. Marti was the steady, trusted presence behind the scenes — and in front of them. For several decades she was the operational backbone of Lake Valley Properties, the friendly face clients and tenants knew and relied on, until her well-earned retirement in 2021. Together they raised two children, Matt and Julie, in South Lake Tahoe — and both have since returned to raise their own families here. It's the kind of legacy that speaks for itself. Mark and Marti remain active in the community they've known and loved for 50 years, and keep up to date with long time clients and all the on-goings of Lake Valley Properties.
